Production Specialist Planner (Food Processing)

A growing company in the food processing industry, known for producing high-quality sauces and condiments
Working days: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
Location: North
Basic up to $4200 + VB
We are seeking a dedicated Production Specialist to join the team in managing and optimizing production processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various production operations, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a keen eye for quality assurance. This role involves ensuring production schedules are met, equipment is well-maintained, and supply chain operations run smoothly, all while maintaining high standards of product quality and efficiency.
Operations/Production Process Management
- Learn and execute various tasks across all production processes.
- Monitor production data to improve operational efficiency.
- Plan and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain product consistency and meet regulatory standards.
- Provide daily progress updates and address discrepancies in both on-site and off-site review meetings with the production team and management.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare, maintain, and inspect machine/equipment maintenance logs and operation checklists.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment breakdowns and initiate improvements and corrective actions to minimize downtime in production lines.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service and Sales teams to meet customer requirements.
- Support OEM production efforts with the production team for product development.
- Work closely with the QA Department.
- Source and ensure the quality of raw materials for production.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with procurement to maintain an adequate supply of raw materials.
- Experience in food manufacturing industry will be added advantage
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
