Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in program or project management.
• 3 years of experience in program management, strategy consulting, or philanthropy with a focus on the APAC region.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with nonprofit organizations, particularly in the area of knowledge, skills, and learning, resilient communities, and scientific advancements.
• Experience with socially and economically excluded communities in APAC.
• Ability to report to multiple stakeholders, providing frequent updates and effective communication in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to approach beneficiary communities with humility and a commitment to listening and servant leadership.
• Excellent storytelling skills and a drive to tell the Google.org story to a range of audiences.
• Excellent communication skills.

As a member of the Google.org APAC team, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to execute strategic work with stakeholders in Singapore and across the APAC region, including overseeing ongoing grantmaking initiatives in APAC. We seek to improve people's lives by helping everyone in Singapore and APAC realize the AI Opportunity. This includes providing access to AI and digital skills, helping to create resilient, healthy, sustainable communities, and enabling AI innovations that change how society addresses shared challenges.

Responsibilities

• Localize global initiatives, identify promising grantees, and build partnerships to address critical needs in APAC.
• Manage large-scale programs, oversee grants, organize events, and craft compelling narratives to showcase Google.org's impact.
• Ensure operational excellence by managing budgets, agreements, and vendor relationships, while thoroughly evaluating program effectiveness.
• Advise Google executives on strategic philanthropic investments in areas like AI for social good, digital skilling, and online safety.
• Partner with Google.org teams worldwide to align on strategy, share best practices, and maximize our collective impact in APAC.
