Regulatory Reporting Associate (OTC Derivatives) – Leading Investment Bank – Singapore

We are working with a leading investment bank in Singapore that is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Associate to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) regulatory reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day regulatory reporting function for all in-scope Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with MAS and HKMA requirements, working closely with the Middle Office, Front Office, and IT teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while preparing comprehensive documentation for operational processes.
- Track and report on regulatory remediation efforts through daily/weekly/monthly reports, ensuring that any potential red flags or late submissions are escalated to senior management.
- Participate in system enhancements and support process improvement projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for regulatory reporting system changes.
- Collaborate on regulatory audits and manage the remediation of any issues identified.
- Degree qualified with 3-5 years of operations experience in banking or financial services, specifically with a focus on derivatives transaction reporting.
- Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives (FX and IR Linear and Non-Linear trades).
- Prior experience with MAS and HKMA trade and transaction reporting is highly advantageous.
- A keen eye for detail with a strong control mindset and commitment to high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively escalate issues and collaborate with stakeholders across various teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Technical skills in Excel (advanced level), VBA/Macros, and ideally Python for process automation and data analysis.
