Project Title: Climate Change and Mental Health

Project Introduction: The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies. Climate change is a physical and environmental event with significant psychological impacts becoming more salient. Climate change events constitute a new source of stressors that individuals have to cope with, both psychologically and practically in their daily lives. Climate action as a behavior has been considered a coping strategy by many researchers. The purpose of this project is to investigate the range of climate action among students of tertiary education institutions in Singapore and determine their psychological effects. In this study, the research staff will be involved in the implementation and reporting of a series of studies, including surveys and evaluation trials.
