Senior Executive, Administrative Support

SAF-NTU Academy is an academic unit within NTU Singapore and established in May 2010 as part of the strategic partnership between the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and NTU Singapore to support the continuing education of SAF leaders. SAF-NTU Academy invites suitable candidates to apply for the position of Senior Executive to manage the SAF-NTU programmes designed in support of the SAF’s overall nurturing effort to develop its leaders professionally and cognitively to meet operational demands, fulfil career development needs and personal aspirations.
This role will provide administrative support and operational assistance for the effective and efficient delivery of the SAF-NTU Academy’s Continuing Education programmes and courses provided to SAF officers in support of their continuing education needs under the Strategic Partnership between NTU and Ministry of Defence, Singapore (MINDEF).
Job Description
Programme
  • Provide support in various aspects of the CE Master’s programme, including classroom bookings, course registration, surveys, assignment submission, printing of certificates and transcripts and examination-related matters
  • Manage the NTU course portal for faculty and students to ensure a seamless learning experience
  • Coordinate the creation of NTU network and library accounts for students and SAF partners
  • Produce and update marketing video to promote awareness for Continuing Education
Administrative, Finance and Other
  • Provide secretariat support for committee meetings with SAF partners
  • Liaise with vendors and finance counterparts on office purchases
  • Process non-PO invoices from vendors
  • Assist in management of office assets and inventories
Requirements
  • Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience in education administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent time management, able to prioritise and work under tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with others as a team
  • Good IT skills, tech-savvy with proficiency in website design and Microsoft Office applications
