Job Responsibilities:
- Provide and review comprehensive support for the overall well-being and holistic development of B20 low-income children at designated TERM (Targeted Enhanced Resource Model) centers.
- Establish and cultivate a positive and trust-based relationship with TERM families to foster a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Provide targeted support for at-risk families, which includes:
o Lead case conferences to collaboratively address challenges and develop tailored support plans.
o Conduct home visits to better understand the family and provide targeted assistance.
o Assist families in navigating and applying for relevant subsidies, financial assistance, and support programs.
o Link up families with relevant community resources.
- Develop, implement and review personalized intervention plans to address unique needs and challenges of each child.
- Role model best practices in collaborating with Principals, Teachers, and other Child Support Services (CSS) colleagues to align and integrate support efforts for TERM children and families.
- Facilitate linkages between the preschool centre and community partners to coordinate and reinforce delivery of attendance support where relevant.
- Lead in achieving TERM’s KPI for all supporting centers.
- Timely submission of required reports and maintain accurate updates on the prescribed case management systems
- Compile and narrate case stories which highlight the positive impact of the Child Support Model (CSM) on the lives of TERM children and families.
- Mentor and provide guidance to new FSEs (Family Support Executives)
- Undertake leadership responsibilities in projects assigned by the reporting officer.
- Recognized diploma/degree in sociology, social work, psychology, early childhood education, or a related field.
- More than 4 years of relevant experience in a pre-school or social service sector, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Passionate about supporting low income children and families.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Exercise discretion and uphold confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive problem solver with a track record of achieving results.
- Ability to mentor and guide FSEs effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
