RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise a team of staff to oversee smooth operation flows and ensure timely collection of all revenue.
Ensure adherence to internal control system by reviewing Accounts Receivables processes pertaining to revenue, billing and collection.
Responsible for timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with prevailing standards and implement workflow changes to adopt new Financial Reporting Standards or business requirements.
Supervising the team to perform reconciliation of sub-ledger to main ledger including bank reconciliations and preparation of audit schedules.
Planning and scheduling the team for systems changes, UAT and document changes to processes and system changes and updates.
Continuously evaluate policies and procedures, tweak processes to gain productivity and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Accountancy, with 10 to 15 years of experience relevant working experience, preferably with CA qualifications.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (SAP, Oracle etc.).
Experience with system changes implementations and UAT.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and databases.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
Familiar with BI tools (e.g. Qlik sense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Interesting personality with can-do spirit.
