Your JobAs a Senior Toolmaker, your primary purpose is to handle high-speed tooling, perform die debugging, carry out Preventive Maintenance, and drive continuous tooling improvement programs. Your goal is to support stamping operations' overall effectiveness concerning cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Our Team
You will be part of the DSS division in Molex Singapore, collaborating closely with production teams, toolmakers, die designers, and the MQA team. Your role involves daily communication and collaboration to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality end products.
What You Will Do

• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality end products.
• Regularly maintain and repair dies to ensure longevity and optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolved die issues in a timely manner.
• Provide help and guidance to junior toolmaker to resolve daily production issues.
• Involved in Production Event (PE) investigation to identify the root cause of the defect.
• Monitor the production process to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers in participating the die design / modification review.
• To perform die debugging to ensure the tooling stability is achieved.
• To carrier out a proper die qualification / die handover procedure.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• NTC 3 in Metal Machining or equivalent trade certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in die debugging, die repair, tooling assembly, and setup.
• Basic machining skills such as grinding, drilling, and more.

What Will Put You Ahead

• GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
