Context of the role
We're looking for a Software Engineer (Solutions Delivery) who's passionate about the Fintech industry, loves to integrate new partners and wants to work in a disruptive, fast-growing and exciting environment. As part of the Solution Delivery team, this role offers great opportunities to work on various projects, collaborating with a diverse range of partners and teams.
The Solutions Delivery team is responsible for supporting the integration of partners within the Thunes Cross-Border Payment platform. Processing millions of transactions per month and interconnecting hundreds of partners from all around the world, Thunes is continuously growing its coverage and footprint in the industry. Description of the role
We're looking for a highly driven, self-motivated, technically hands-on person who is truly excited about having a meaningful impact within the company and for our network partners.
In this role, you will find a startup mindset with the scale of an industry leader. Working with different types of partners you must remain agile and always adapt your process and mindset to the partner you are dealing with.
What your missions are

• Deliver the integration with new partner services from the analysis phase through the integration design until go live and post-delivery monitoring
• Solution and develop ad-hoc solutions outside of the box for some special projects
• Monitor and measure the quality of service of existing partners that are already integrated to the platform
• Expand internal monitoring, reporting and operational tools and processes
• Drive partners integrating to our network providing technical expertise and support.

On a daily basis, you will

• Design and develop API based integrations
• Apply coding and analytical skills in all phases of the SDLC – efficiently use version control systems
• Work closely with different internal teams to understand and support operational processes and new solutions
• Always keep a solution mindset and proactively look for improvements that you can bring to the organization
• Work within an expanding team based all around the world
• Contribute to the documentation

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience working and integrating with APIs (REST, Web Services, …)
• Experience with C#, especially modern versions of .NET Core
• Experience with Go or willingness to learn
• Experience with SQL Server or other database systems
• Experience with GIT or similar version control system
• Experience with test driven development
• Experience with Dev Ops tools is a plus (Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops ...)
• Demonstrate motivation to learn new skills and technologies
• Ability to work effectively, multi-task, be agile and take responsibility in challenging situations
• Strong customer-focused and result-oriented mindset
• Independent and proactive - willing to get things done
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills, be creative, friendly and solution-oriented with customers and colleagues
• Interest in the Fin Tech Industry and market innovations
