1. Student Management:
- Oversee the daily life management of students from China studying in Singapore. This includes, but is not limited to, accommodation arrangements, meal planning, health management, and handling emergency situations.
- Provide students with life guidance, helping them adapt to the Singaporean living environment and culture. Assist in solving various day-to-day issues
- Assist students in managing academic matters, such as communicating with educational institutions and helping students develop study plans.
- Offer basic counselling and emotional support to students, helping them cope with pressures and challenges related to both life and studies.
- Maintain regular communication with students’ parents, providing updates on students’ living and academic situations, and addressing any enquiries or feedback from parents.
- Educational Background:
- Having studied in Singapore is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preference for candidates with qualifications in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- Candidates with experience in education management or student management are preferred, especially those with experience in Singapore.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, along with strong communication skills.
- Personal Qualities:
- Passionate about the education sector, responsible, patient, and compassionate. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to manage emergencies and unexpected situations.
- Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with Singapore’s lifestyle and culture and places in Singapore. Also with an understanding of the needs and habits of students from Mainland China. Must be available for contact 24/7 in case of emergencies.
Remarks: Please note that relevant holidays in China will be taken into account and therefore working days and schedules may differ accordingly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Fresh graduate, Freelance, Student job
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
