Technical Officer (Design, Electrical Transmission Planning)

What You’ll Do:
  • Carry out cable route / substation site feasibility, and prepare cable routes drawings for transmission network / database maintenance
  • Prepare single-line diagrams using BIM, Auto CAD
  • Maintain Section’s database on transmission network equipment and cables in Auto CAD, ARGIS etc
  • Assist in processing consultations from Developers/government Agencies
  • Perform site survey for substation and cable projects as and when required
  • Tabulate data and perform simple power flow studies using simulation software
  • Update data, project costing, and network development information in Company’s database using BIM, Auto CAD, PSS/E, and other software applications
  • Prepare reports and documents using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Auto CAD, BIM
  • Any other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from any of the recognized Polytechnics in Singapore
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of computer software applications eg. BIM, Autocad & Microsoft Office
  • Good initiatives and meticulous
  • Prefer to work in the office environment with site surveys as and when required
  • Preferred to have experience in working with agencies, and knowledge in cable route planning and installation work
