Windows Programmer (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Windows applications using languages such as C++, C#, or Visual Basic.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
Perform day-to-day activities as monitoring, security issues, server & OS related problems/requests based on tickets/alert mails
Implement and troubleshoot of Windows Systems/Servers
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Monitor, troubleshoot and support Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) and ensure network connectivity throughout the organization’s infrastructure
Debug and troubleshoot application issues, including performance optimization and bug fixes.
Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Work with APIs, libraries, and other technologies to integrate Windows applications with external systems.
Maintain knowledge of emerging Windows technologies and industry trends.
Provide technical support to internal and external users as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of IT experience.
Proven experience in Windows application development.
Proficiency in programming languages like C#, C++, Visual Basic, or .NET.
Experience in using software tools Putty, Solar Winds Monitoring Tool, BMC, Clarion and all the hardware management applications (ILO, OMSA, IDRAC, Hardware Mgmt. GUI)
Strong understanding of Windows OS, threading, and memory management.
Experience with Windows development tools such as Visual Studio.
Knowledge of Windows system APIs, services, and security features.
Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Forms, and Universal Windows Platform (UWP).
Knowledge of Windows networking and system administration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and Dev Ops tools.
Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
