Job Purpose

The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a self-motivated and competent individual to render administrative support services.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Recommendation

Relevant experience.

Key Performance Areas

Render general clerical support services; Provide supply chain clerical support services within the component; Provide personnel administration clerical support; Provide financial administration support services.

Competencies

Good understanding of the following; Clerical duties and capturing dater; Skills needed: Literacy and numeracy; Presentation; Decision –making; Proven computer literacy; Communication (written and verbal); Interpersonal skills; Flexibility; Planning and organising.

Remuneration

R 216 417 per annum (Salary level 5)

Notes

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to do a practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
