Job Title:HR & Administration Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & Administration Officer to oversee and manage the daily operations of the HR and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices within South Africa, as well as experience in office administration. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources Management:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Manage employee records, payroll, leave, and attendance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance on career development.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
2. Office Administration:
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day office operations.
- Organize company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Manage travel arrangements and logistics for staff as needed.
- Handle administrative support duties, including document management and filing.
3. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure company policies comply with South African labor laws.
- Prepare and submit HR and administrative reports as required.
- Support internal audits and ensure proper record-keeping.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
- Assist in preparing and managing HR and administrative budgets.
- Track office expenses and optimize cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably within South Africa.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
