The Role


What is the role?


We are looking for new trainees to join our ever-growing team in our Cape Town office for the 2025 Year


This is a three-year trainee contract that will allow you to complete the practical working requirements to get your CIMA Qualification.


Whilst working you will be given the time and support needed to complete the exam aspects of CIMA.


What you will be exposed to:

• Monthly accounting and processing for SMEs.
• Payroll processing via Simple Pay.
• Legislative processing (i.e All SARS types of returns - VAT, PAYE, ITR)
• Engaging with clients and solving accounting problems.
• Provisional Tax calculations and discussions with clients.
• Communicating with clients on accounting needs and processing. Building strong client relationships.
• Adhoc accounting project work, queries and advice as requested from clients.
• Providing financial management support to SMEs.
• A pretty cool working environment and culture.

What do you need to have?

• Be someone who wants to learn and is willing to take on new challenges. This will suit someone who enjoys the idea of working with Startups and Small businesses.
• Someone who wants to learn and grow and has a good knowledge of working on computers and the ability to learn various software packages.
• Degree/Honours Degree in Management Accounting or Accounting.
