ABOUT THE POSITION
A Junior Content Developer is responsible for the development of educational textbook content, ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and aligned with learning objectives. This role involves authoring new content, reviewing existing content, and peer reviewing other CDs’ work. Content developers are expected to collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, editors, and layout, providing constructive feedback to both in-house and freelance staff as needed. Strong research and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to critically analyse are essential for success in this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of print content
We create educational content across a variety of disciplines and welcome candidates with different qualifications and backgrounds including the humanities, commerce, and law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of print content
- Authoring content for non-technical textbook chapters.
- Reviewing non-technical content that has been authored or reviewed by external freelancers (SMEs).
- Peer-reviewing non-technical content that has been authored or reviewed by fellow team members.
- Reworking/updating existing non-technical content.
- Performing any additional duties as requested by the Print Content Team Lead or Academic Specialist to support organisational goals.
- Accurately making use of project management tools in place.
- Strictly following team processes and protocols that ensure a smooth handover between departments.
- Timeously communicating with the Project Manager and/or Print Content Team Lead when required.
- Contributing to a collaborative and innovative environment where creativity and efficiency can flourish.
