Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Part-Time Remote Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be 30+ years old, have a strong understanding of SEO, and possess a proven ability to write engaging and well-researched blog content. You’ll need to cover a variety of topics that resonate with our South African audience and beyond, helping us expand our online presence and establish Wise Move as a trusted resource in the moving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, engaging, and informative blog posts on a range of topics (2-3 articles per week)
- Optimise content for SEO, ensuring it ranks well on search engines.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and topics within related topics such as real estate.
- Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy tailored to Wise Move's audience.
- Ensure all content follows Wise Move's brand voice and style guidelines.
Requirements:
- 30+ years of age
- Proven experience in SEO and blog writing
- Ability to create content that is both informative and engaging.
- Experience writing for diverse audiences on a wide range of topics.
- Strong research skills and the ability to produce well-researched content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- South African resident with a deep understanding of local culture and preferences.
Preferred:
- Previous experience writing for an informative blog on local topics.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
