In South Africa (SA), you will find our products across the region at breakfast, lunch or dinner. At the gym or on the field. In the office or on the go. Pepsi Co SA employs more than 13, 000 people across our three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages.
Responsibilities:
General Worker
- Must be able to pick up packs of up to 13kg, move sugar bags of up to 25kg and push bottle trollies.
- Check availability of pallets and slip sheets
- Seal Boxes
- Pack pallets according to packing configuration
- Housekeeping
- All objectives met
- Improved own performance according to agreed plan
- Adequate sharing of knowledge and skills
- Organised own work effectively to complete tasks on-time and per priority
- All practices, policies, standards, procedures and methods applied consistently
- Effectively solve most work area problems
- Regularly and consistently report progress
- Consistently adhere to legal requirements
- Internal and external (including customer & shop stewards & Service providers) relationships were deliberated and delivered predefined departmental objectives
- Respected and trusted by managers & peers
- Communicates timeously and accurately regarding work issues
- Wear clothes that was issued to you
- Wear earplugs
- Wear gloves
- Drink water as prescribed (legal requirements)
- Ensure equipment is always clean
- Matric or NQF 4
- Communication – written and verbal
- Problem solving
- Physical stamina
- Mental strength
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety
