Regenize is an innovative recycling solution on a mission to make recycling more accessible and ethical.
We provide a freemium recycling collection service to households and reward them with Remali, our virtual currency. Remali is our behaviour change tool that incentives residents for recycling. Residents can use their Remali online to purchase airtime, data and grocery vouchers.
To perform the collection, we partner with informal collectors to perform the collection. We provide them with uniforms, recycling tricycles, and mobile devices that connect them to households that separate their waste. We’re also dignifying their role, and assisting them with getting bank cards, provide training on technology and customer service, getting a stable income, and access to PPE.

Who Are We Looking For?
Are you passionate about content creation and interested in using your skills to promote environmental sustainability? Regenize is seeking a creative and motivated Junior Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist to join our team. As our Junior Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and creating engaging content across our social media platforms. This includes designing basic graphics such as pamphlets, posters, and social media posts, as well as creating reels and other short-form video content. You will play a key role in shaping our brand’s online presence, working independently with minimal supervision.
This opportunity offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-growing industry while contributing to meaningful projects that promote recycling and waste reduction. In order to qualify you need to have graduated between 2020 -2024 and currently be unemployed.
What Will You Be Doing?

• Develop and execute social media content strategies across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Linked In).
• Design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including pamphlets, posters, and social media posts.
• Create and edit basic reels and short-form videos to enhance social media engagement.
• Manage social media calendars, ensuring consistent posting and engagement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools.
• Collaborate with the team to align content with overall business goals.
• Create compelling written content for our website, blog, and email newsletters.
• Research industry trends, environmental issues, and recycling best practices to inform content creation.
• Assist in managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of content using analytics tools to optimize future strategies.

Qualifications:

• Recently graduated (latest 2020) from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
• Proficiency in creating engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and websites.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva).
• Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and recycling initiatives.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
• Positive attitude, creativity, and a willingness to learn and grow.
