We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planner to join our dynamic team in the cosmetic manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate
will possess strong Excel skills, a knack for numbers, and proficiency in managing various aspects of our ERP system. This role primarily
involves overseeing cash flow, ensuring accurate stock orders, managing stock codes, generating purchase orders, handling invoicing, and
efficiently organizing stock booking processes. Additionally, the Planner will be responsible for maintaining supplier accounts and negotiating
prices to optimize our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cash Flow Management:
● Monitor and analyze cash flow trends to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.
● Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to forecast cash flow requirements accurately.
2. Stock Management:
● Collaborate with production and procurement teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
● Generate stock codes and manage inventory data within the ERP system for accurate tracking.
3. Order Management:
● Create and process purchase orders in accordance with production schedules and inventory needs.
● Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Invoicing and Stock Booking:
● Handle invoicing processes accurately and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
● Oversee the booking-in process for incoming stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
5. Supplier Account Management:
● Manage supplier accounts, including communication, negotiations, and resolving any issues promptly.
● Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement or cost savings.
6. Price Negotiation:
● Negotiate prices with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure cost-effectiveness.
● Analyze market trends and supplier offerings to identify opportunities for price optimization.
Qualifications and Skills:
● 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role within the cosmetic manufacturing industry is preferred but not a requirement.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
● Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
● Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
● Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly in the context of supply chain management.
● Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
