Platform Listing Assistant - KG Short Stay
At KG Short Stay, our properties' visibility, accuracy, and appeal on major platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and our own website are key to our business success. As the Platform Listing Assistant, your role is to ensure that all listings are meticulously maintained, up to date, and optimised to attract the right guests. You will also be responsible for creating and listing new properties on these platforms, ensuring each one is presented to the highest standard. Your attention to detail and structured approach will ensure that all information is correct, up-to-date, and aligned with our commitment to providing exceptional service to both guests and property owners.

Key Results/Outcomes
- Up-to-Date Listings: Ensure all property listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, and kgshortstay.co.uk are accurate, up-to-date, and consistently reflect changes such as pricing, availability, amenities, and special promotions.
- New Property Listings: Create and launch new property listings on all relevant platforms. This includes gathering all necessary information, writing compelling property descriptions, and ensuring all images and details are correct.
- Optimised Listings: Continually optimise existing listings to improve performance, visibility, and guest appeal. This involves revising content, updating imagery, and implementing platform best practices.
- Platform Compliance: Ensure that all listings are compliant with the guidelines and policies of each platform, avoiding any issues that may affect visibility or performance.
- Detail-Oriented Administration: Maintain and organise property information with a high degree of precision, ensuring no errors or inconsistencies across platforms.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing and creating property listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, and websites. You must be comfortable working with these platforms and understand how to optimise listings for performance.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrable ability to manage details meticulously. This role is ideal for individuals who are methodical, structured, and enjoy focusing on accuracy.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A high level of self-motivation and discipline is essential for this remote role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, with experience in working with listing platforms, and basic knowledge of property management systems or website content management systems.
- Remote Work Setup: Must have access to a reliable internet connection, a private and quiet workspace, and the necessary tools to work efficiently from home.
- Industry Experience: Experience in short-term rental management, hospitality, or real estate would be advantageous.
- Listing Optimisation: Knowledge of SEO and other strategies to increase the visibility and attractiveness of listings on online platforms.
- Pay: Up to ZAR 100 per hour, depending on experience, following successful completion of probation.
- Hours: Initially 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility to work at any time Monday to Sunday, allowing for adaptability in managing your own schedule. Potential for additional hours, though not guaranteed.
- Location: This is a fully remote position, advertised in South Africa, with the flexibility to work from home.
