Production Associate - Level II

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Distribution Business Unit in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

- Maintenance & Housekeeping: Performing routine maintenance and keeping a tidy workspace prevents equipment issues and maintains efficiency.
- Flexibility: Your willingness to perform various duties as needed makes you a valuable and adaptable team member.
- Team Collaboration: Effective communication and participation in team development activities foster a collaborative environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Engaging in training and actively seeking ways to improve processes contributes to ongoing operational excellence.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Proactive Safety Engagement: Champion health and safety behaviors, report hazards, and contribute to a zero-injury workplace.
- Manufacturing Process Expertise: Implement changes in processes and equipment to drive continuous improvement.
- Operational Task Management: Handle parts, use correct PPE, operate lifting equipment, and maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
- Collaborative Production Support & Training: Coordinate with supervisors, manage engine sourcing, repacking, and covering tasks. Training for competencies like rigging and slinging is provided.
Education/ Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
