Job Description

Eosol Group, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is seeking a qualified and experienced QA QC Supervisor to join our dynamic team for a solar plant project in South Africa. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional with a solid background in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) within the renewable energy sector. As a QA QC Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management : Develop and implement quality management systems and QA QC plans to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations for solar plant projects.
Quality Assurance : Conduct regular inspections and audits of the construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
Quality Control : Establish and oversee QC procedures for materials, processes, and finished products. Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken. Prepare regular quality reports for project management and stakeholders.
Training and Support : Provide training and guidance to project personnel on QA QC procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of quality throughout the project team.
Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards and to address any quality-related concerns.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA QC supervision, specifically in solar plant projects or related energy infrastructure projects. Proven track record of managing quality assurance processes and implementing effective quality control measures.
Certifications : Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety management (e.g., ISO 45001) are highly regarded.
Technical Skills : Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools, as well as knowledge of international standards and regulations applicable to solar energy projects.
Soft Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
