Renewables Project Analyst

- Bachelor’s degree of Business or Engineering
- Knowledge in Renewable Energy technologies
- Knowledge in South African renewable energy market
- Areas of expertise: Project management with a focus among Business and Project Development
- Strong MS Excel and MS Powerpoint skills
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with a cross-functional and delocalized teams
- Analytical mind
- Fluent in English. Basic understanding of French is an advantage.
- Conduct market analysis (opportunities, clients, projects, competitors…)
- Assist the BD manager in preparing Offers / Tender Responses and the corresponding documentation for internal approvals
- Assist in preparation of documentation (reports and presentations) for external audiences
- Participate and take actions in client meetings, in support of the projects under development
- Conduct high-level technical and financial analysis of key opportunities using Total Energies’ internal applications.
- Conduct due diligence analysis on Partners, Suppliers and Contractors.
- Actively participate in marketing events (industry conferences and workshops).
- Support Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations.
- Site visits as and when needed.

In South Africa, Total Energies has been awarded projects in the public sector REIPPPP and RMIPPPP bid rounds, private sector CPPAs, and intends to participate in additional renewables projects which are commercially attractive and in line with the country’s needs.
