We have an exciting opportunity for a Sea-Freight Manager to join our offices in Johannesburg.
The Opportunity
- Manage a Seafreight Imports team
- Implementing and overseeing of operating procedures.
- Managing Operational Finance and Compliance Metrics i.e. Auto rating, invoicing performance, data compliance.
- Compile and prepare required reports.
- Visit customers on a regular basis with the sales & servicing representatives, or alternatively alone.
- Manage Work in Progress (WIPS) and Accruals on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
- Solid communication skills, self-motivated and positive attitude
- Operational knowledge across all modes of transport would be an advantage
- Experience in a client servicing role would be advantageous
- Accuracy and attention to details are imperative
- Previous experience within a supervisory role
- 10 Years experience operational knowledge
