The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Boccalino Kitchen Commis, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This position reports to the Chef de Partie.

Responsibilities

• The Boccalino Kitchen Commis is an essential member of the Culinary team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
• Prepare bread items according to production schedules, requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs
• Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
• Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Qualifications and Skills

• High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Advanced culinary knowledge is expected.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage several demanding tasks in a consistently busy environment.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken Korean
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is preferable

Visa Requirements

• Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
