We are a U.S.-based company specializing in the import and distribution of high-quality textiles. We are seeking a skilled Textile Sourcing Specialist to expand our supply chain capabilities by identifying and fostering relationships with suppliers of 100% woven polyester in South Korea.
Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of 100% woven polyester across South Korea.
• Establish relationships with suppliers that align with company quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
• Supplier Management:
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and South Korean suppliers.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Negotiation & Coordination:
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value and quality.
• Arrange and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Oversee FOB supplier shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the smooth importation of goods into the USA.
• Sample Management:
• Gather and evaluate product samples to meet company specifications and quality requirements.
• On-Site Visits:
• Conduct occasional visits to supplier facilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Performance Tracking:
• Regularly report sourcing metrics, including supplier performance, costs, and quality indicators.
• Continuously explore ways to optimize supplier relationships and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in textile sourcing, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably with woven polyester fabrics.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with South Korean textile markets and trade regulations.
• Ability to travel for on-site visits and supplier meetings.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.

Compensation Structure

• Base Salary: Commensurate with experience.
• Commission: Quarterly override based on total purchase volume from South Korean suppliers. The more you help us source and purchase, the more you earn.
