Job Overview
Reporting to the International and Executive Comp lead, an ideal candidate for this position will play a critical individual contributor role, based in either of Korea, US or Taiwan. International Compensation team is involved in various aspects of day-to-day and seasonal compensation matters across all the markets that Coupang currently has a presence. The ideal candidate will work with other members of the International comp team, but should be able to drive compensation projects based on an analytical approach balanced with independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Work with regional and global compensation partners on compensation issues and work on a variety of seasonal and ad-hoc compensation projects. Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation programs and recommend enhancements that are consistent with the compensation trend and with the headquarters' practice and objectives.

Manage the development, implementation and administration of globally and/or locally set up compensation programs from a local market perspective

Manage the company's participation in salary surveys and expand networks in the HR field locally to monitor compensation trends

Partner with other HR internal stakeholders to provide advisory on compensation related matters including base salary, bonus and equity incentive programs.
Essential Qualifications
- English Native
- Bachelor degree in HR, Finance, Statistics or Psychology
- 8-10 years total work experience (at least 5 of them must be in relation to compensation/rewards area from one of the following markets – US, China, India,Taiwan, Singapore)
Preferred Qualifications
- HR consulting preferred
- Korean language skill would be favoured
- Open to relocation (Seoul, Korea )

- In preparation for a job applicant's request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
