Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, Payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities.
• Manage the month-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with external auditors and prepare schedules for annual audits.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems.
• Provide support to other departments on financial matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and South Korean financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
