Systems Engineer in Korea
Job Description
One Sky is helping to pave the way for the safe and efficient operation of uncrewed aerial vehicles. Our team supports
and benefits customers by implementing software products that solve our customer’s need for safe, dependable UAS
and AAM flights.
One Sky’s global portfolio of projects is growing rapidly, including many regions world-wide. We’re looking for an
energetic systems engineer to support pre-sale customer engagements and execution of contracted customer projects
in South Korea. This position is in Korea and you must be fluent in Korean to be considered.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Become an expert in the operation of UTM and other One Sky software products
Work closely with One Sky business development, sales, and global engineering teams to perform product
demonstrations and inform prospective customers about One Sky capabilities
Support customer UAS and AAM operations by monitoring status of cloud-based systems, troubleshooting
software issues, and providing One Sky product expertise

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or scientific discipline (aerospace, software engineering, etc)
Experience in the aviation/aerospace industry (e.g., engineer, crewed/uncrewed vehicle operator, air traffic
controller, etc.)
Experience making technical contributions to distributed (remote) teams
Passionate about contributing to emerging e VTOL, AAM, UAM, and BVLOS drone markets, and working with a
wide range of challenging aviation and air traffic management applications
Capable of self-management and responsibly executing multiple tasks in accordance with priorities and
deadlines
Top-notch oral, written, and interpersonal abilities
Alignment with our company's values
Available to travel as required (typically < 20%)
Experience with AWS and/or other cloud hosting environments
Experience testing systems using scripting, Postman, etc
Experience with GIS concepts and data
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Server-Sent Events (SSE), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MQTT
Familiarity with UI design concepts
Familiarity with Systems Tool Kit (STK) and/or Cesium
