Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) - Let’s introduce ourselves
You will be part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) team, where we strive for smart and nimble finance processes by analyzing financials to support the business in the best way. GAD is currently a team of 400 people operating from seven different countries and representing over 30 nationalities! In GAD, dedicated professionals are working in a dynamic and customer focused environment.
We are now looking for an Accountant with customer acumen to join our Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) team to be based in Madrid (metro Cuzco). What you'll do
You will coordinate with different teams and be responsible for daily execution of correct PTP processes. You will be the interface and the point of contact for our Volvo Cars entities in the EMEA region and the Business Process Outsourcing delivery team. In addition to this, you will perform issue resolution of inquiries relating to PTP processes.

- Focus on the self-billing invoice processes of direct materials and support indirect material processes: On-boarding new suppliers, set up, fix issues, and detect improvement areas in the process
- Analysis of overdue invoices
- Management of supplier inquiries
- Approving invoice payment proposals
- PTP period end activities
- Analysis of KPIs
- Account Reconciliation Review
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Phone support for supplier calls
- Problem solve escalated tickets through the ticketing system
As part of our Continuous Improvement initiative, you will have the opportunity to coordinate projects in various areas and monitor rule-based activities performed by our Business Process Outsourcing delivery team.
Do you fit the profile?
You have experience in Purchase-to-Pay processes in an international environment and enjoy working in a structured way, but at the same time can detect areas of improvement within your area and like implementing their improvements.

Do you fit the profile?
You have experience in Purchase-to-Pay processes in an international environment and enjoy working in a structured way, but at the same time can detect areas of improvement within your area and like implementing their improvements.
- A degree in Finance or equivalent.
- Experience in Accounting and PTP processes
- Fluent in English both verbally and written. Other languages positively valued (Spanish, French, German)
- Experience in SAP (MM/FI modules)
- Be a great communicator with good collaboration skills.
- Have an ability to plan and prioritize with a positive mindset.
- You have high integrity regarding your work
- Great analytical skills
- You are service minded and curious.
