We are seeking a Delivery Engineer aiming to become part of an international organization. As a delivery engineer you will be part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering our products and supporting the technical activities involved during the project life cycle .
The position is based in Pamplona or Barcelona (Spain).

We are seeking a Delivery Engineer aiming to become part of an international organization. As a delivery engineer you will be part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering our products and supporting the technical activities involved during the project life cycle .
The position is based in Pamplona or Barcelona (Spain).
Position ResponsibilitiesThe function of the Delivery Engineer has the following key areas of responsibility:

Lead together with the Operations Unit and Development Unit the creation of the development plan of the project and supervise its execution.

Support the Project Manager helping him to drive the project and giving him concrete and clear inputs to take the best decisions based on the context.

Establish good relationships with our customers and partners based on trust.

Propose Architecture and Solutions during the project.

Manage Deployments in different Environments and provide feedback to the Development Team about its results
-
Coordinate with the Development Team, Cloud Team and Technical Partners.

Ensure the Common Methodology and Best Practices are respected

Properly manage any departmental knowledge favoring the re-use of existing information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

The professional we are seeking
-
-
BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications
-
Having been involved in agile software delivery project management and POS/Retail and/or business software applications related experience is a plus
-
4+ Knowledge/experience in software development with the following technologies is a valuable plus:
-

Python, shell scripting
-
Linux ecosystem (ssh, remote server access, etc…)
-
Java Platform and/or all tiers of an enterprise web application
-
SQL, Postgre SQL
-
Python, shell scripting
-
BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications

User Interface technologies: Java Script, React
-
User Interface technologies: Java Script, React

Having experience in JIRA Agile Project Management Tool is a plus
-
Good communication and presentation skills, used to working in a client setting.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is a must. French is a strong plus

Analytical thinking & detail-oriented

Proven ability to meet/exceed deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment
-
Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
-
Availability to travel as required for the success of the business.
