Director of Pricing Strategy

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will create and implement pricing and incentive strategies for accommodation across all regions working closely with Sales Directors and the Chief commercial Officer

Manages all the regional in pricing representatives with the regional directors including Retail

Works with Head of Pricing New Business to act on an efficient ecosystem play

Act as delegate for Group Pricing Director
Responsibilities:

Lead teams to provide pricing expertise and analysis to make pricing decisions across all Accommodation products, clients and distribution regions.

Develop and project-lead research, analysis, and reporting that facilitates assessments of pricing performance and aides in the identification of improvement opportunities and spotlights needs for corrective action.

Coordinate with other teams as a consumer of market trends, competitive intelligence, and sales performance data;

Assess and recommend opportunities for testing new pricing tactics; support Sales team education and roll-out, monitor performance and advise when proven improvements should be implemented more broadly

Implement recommended pricing strategies, managing all aspects of change management across the business and our clients;

Lead Accommodation input into group pricing strategies and projects for bundled product offerings.
Skills and Experience:

Communication and Influencing skills are key for this role and must have high quality written and Verbal communication skills

Must be able to interpret data at pace and be comfortable making decisions

Strong effective people management skills

Exceptional presentational skills

Must be able to communicate to all levels of the company

Must be comfortable taking a Hands on approach when needed
