Field Technician TotalEnergies EV Charge Business Unit in Spain URGENT

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred. Electrical and electronic competences.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service or technical support, preferably in the EV, renewable energy or automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
The job holder is accountable for:
- Number of installations delivered OTIF
- Time to complete installations
- Quality, TCS standards respect & HSE compliance delivered sites.
- Economical savings / Technical improvements proposals on field
- Guarantee the application of HSE rules for all activities carried out in the country in the area considered in coordination with the HSE in EVC business line and Total Energies.
- Coordination of implementation technical & branding elements in all projects according to Total Energies standards.
- Supervise the installation of charging stations and the rest of electrical and image elements, at various locations according to project specifications.
- Support during the construction of installations after the approval of HSE rules.
- Stock of equipment’s follow up, guaranteeing its supply according to the project development status.
- Preparation of commissioning of different brands validated by Total Energies
- Support Handover to exploitation team of fully operative installations.
- Migration from Wenea system to Total Energies standards.
- Update and follow the actual regulation in terms of electrical normative, both at Spanish & European level..
- Diagnose and repair any technical issues with the charging equipment during the installation and commissioning.
- Ensure during the installation compliance with all safety regulations and Total Energies golden rules.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users as needed.
- Any task requested by the management related to his/her area of activities
- The Spanish LV market is the 5th largest in Europe. The EV market is lagging a few years behind the E5 countries but the transition from ICE to EV vehicles has started.
- The transport (including light commercial vehicle) sector, a key sector impacted by the energy transition, is moving towards a sustainable energy mix and sustainable energies.
- Electromobility will thus represent a significant part of the energy mix in this sector.
- Total Energies having divested its position in the service station market in Spain some years ago, development efforts in EV infrastructure and MSP should be designed outside an in-house existing network to maintain a significant market share and a profitable business in the mid-term.
- The Total Energies EV charge business can rely on the presence of GRP/IP (electricity supplier).
- 200+ HPC sites with 500+ CPs (with a potential extension up to 1.150 CPs) across the 17 regions of Spain along highways, main roads and in urban and suburban areas
- Overall CAPEX of 80M€ between 2024 and 2030, OPEX around 0,5M€/y
- Energy sold between 5 GWh in 2024 and 100 GWh by 2030
