Job Description:
An opportunity for a Function Controller has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSABILITIES
As Function Controller for main Spanish Entities, you will be a vital part in the Finance community with different links to project and support function organizations.

• As a challenging finance controller, you will contribute substantially to managing the cost of all Integrated Support Functions in Spain.
  
• You will ensure the right cost, workload and associated statistical key figures planning for OP, Budget & Forecast in close relation with the Financial Business Partner of the Functions, HR and operational stakeholders.
  
• You will gather and provide data to enable educated decision making on management level and give visibility about performance versus targets. You will highlight and analyze discrepancies and propose actions to optimize financial and operational performance. To do so, you will collaborate and challenge your business partners from all directorates (e.g. Operational, Project Organization, Accounting & Cost Accounting Procurement and other Finance departments).
  
• Moreover, you will support key change decisions and contribute to reduce the risks and optimize the costs, to look for long-term company profitability and competitiveness for our company.
  

Being a Function Controller requires a robust company and business understanding, a feeling for numbers and solid social skills to be able to manage your stakeholders in adversity towards the best business decisions for the company. The role is challenging in its complexity and has to be undertaken by somebody who is capable to understand the people, the products, the organization and the numbers. You will be embedded in our Finance community and work closely with your operational partner. A high level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, conflict management skills, persistence, and assertiveness is required to master this role.

With your work, you will contribute to the successful completion of many challenges ongoing within Airbus Defence and Space as well for our core Functions. Your daily work will contribute to an increase in our companies’ efficiency and support our competitiveness. SKILLS

• Degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
  
• At least 3 years of experience in Finance & Controlling
  
• Experience in in SAP CO/FI/PS
  
• Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
  
• Knowledge in Systems and Tools (SAP FI/MM, Simpli Fi, Facts+, MRT, Analysis for Office and Business Objects would be a plus
  
• Strong command of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point
  
• Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, collaborate across functions, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
  
• Negotiation level of English and Spanish
