General Ledger Accountant -NA Region-

We are currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant NA Region to join us at our facility in Asturias.

Key responsibilities:

Production of financial statements entries (incl. accruals & TAX entries).
GL account reconciliations: accruals, rebates, prepaid, etc...
To provide guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting / financial processes within the functional area of responsibility.
Month end closing activities. Reconciliation of different financial statement for US GAAP.
Monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis.
To interact with Business, Legal Entities and Corporate Finance.
To participate on internal & external financial audits.
To participate in Regional / Global networks as needed.
To provide functional expertise on cross-functional initiatives and issue resolutions.
To proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key requirements:

University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
Fluency in English. Any other European languages are considered a plus.
Demonstrated experience in accounting, minimum 2 years prior experience in various transactional accounting areas.
Experience in Finance systems and/or General Ledger desired.
