The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY
As the Head Hostess for the Palace restaurants and bars, you are the first and most lasting impression for guests, embodying the glamour and elegance of this iconic property. Your role is to be an ambassador of the outlets, ensuring each guest feels recognized and valued. A primary responsibility is building strong guest loyalty by personally greeting and remembering regular patrons, addressing them by their last names as often as possible, and providing an elevated, personalised experience.
The Head Hostess leads by example, maintaining a polished appearance, setting the tone for the service team, and ensuring that the environment reflects the sophisticated ambience of the Palace. Your goal is to create an extraordinary welcoming experience, fostering guest loyalty and ensuring the team presents themselves with poise and professionalism.
- Guest Recognition and Loyalty Engagement – Build personal relationships with regular guests, ensuring they are greeted by name,
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on guest recognition and relationship building.
- Guest Focus – Passion for delivering exceptional, personalised guest experiences that create loyalty and lasting impressions.
- Elegance and Poise – Well-presented, with a polished, sophisticated demeanour that aligns with the high standards of the Palace environment.
- Communication – Strong verbal communication skills, able to interact with a diverse clientele while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- Team Collaboration – Ability to work seamlessly with other departments to ensure the entire guest journey is flawless, from the entrance to the table and beyond.
- Ability to stand, walk, and greet guests for extended periods of time.
- Capacity to handle light lifting
