However, as an added benefit for this junior position, CIEE currently offers a flexible schedule on Fridays, allowing you to work from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Occasionally, some workdays may coincide with national holidays, such as January 6 or Easter Monday, due to student group arrivals. These days will be compensated for with recovery time. There may also be some evening, Saturday, or overnight excursions, which are likewise compensated for with recovery time.

This junior position is an in-person, student-facing role, requiring you to be based full-time in Madrid. However, the Internship Coordinator is eligible to participate in CIEE's remote work pilot program, while remaining based in Madrid, allowing for a balance of direct engagement with students and partners.

In this role, you will have access to participant applications and other personal student information. As a member of the CIEE team, you may be privy to personal, medical, and academic concerns of participants, and it is essential to respect and maintain the confidentiality of such records. The position is hired with a local contract and follows all local holidays and annual vacation days.
