• Support development and implementation of the unit-linked investment strategy.
• Support development of the ESG integration approach for unit-linked assets in close collaboration with UL central team.
• Conduct research and due diligence on funds in all asset classes, including alternative investments.
• Oversight of existing funds/ETFs performance with the goal to outperform the reference benchmark of the product in different market environments.
• Conduct and document relevant fund selection and ESG analyses in retail fund universe.
• Analyses asset classes and market sectors to formulate an opinion on their relative performance and makes recommendations for the portfolios.
• Assists in performance attribution analysis to explain differences between portfolio and benchmark return.
• Identifies attractive investment opportunities or trends in various investment strategies as well as undesirable style drift, unexpected performance trends, or other adverse developments.
• Understand, evaluate, and stay up-to date on the local and global markets and macroeconomic situation that may affect or provide opportunities on the implementation of the strategy to support decision-making process.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Physics with economic background; Actuarial Science & Finance, Economics with strong quantitative skills.
• MSc in Quantitative Finance, Financial Markets or CFA qualification will be a plus.
• 3 or more years of experience in related field preferable within an insurance company.
• Fund selection - Proficiency Level Expert.
• Experience in investment management and risk/ return key indicators.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets, financial products, and economic theory.
• Team worker, proactive and positive attitude, enthusiasm for financial markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish will be a plus but not required.
