Job Purpose Summary
Corza Medical is currently seeking a Key Account Specialist for Spain reporting to our National Sales Manager. This role supports a newly acquired commercial group in Europe focused on sales of products to surgeons in the operating room. The KAS focuses on growing the Corza Medical portfolio in the hospital settings while providing technical and field support to our high-value physician customer base.

Your territory will be Madrid region, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara and Cuenca. It would be ideal to live in ora round Madrid (remote home office).

What you will do
  • Develop, implement and review account plans, in line with Corza Health commercial policies, for targeted customers, purchasers and influencers that drive sales of Hospital Business products and therapies.
  • Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships by agreeing service requirements, owning customer issues and ensuring all parties are kept informed of relevant information in order to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Holistically manage existing and new customers while keeping them fully informed about product to ensure patient and customer needs are wholly met.
  • Fully responsible for the assigned sales budget in the region.
  • Analysis and interpretation of the market, customer needs, the competition, differentiation and information in order to have a growing market share and capture new opportunities.
  • Guide and support customers in the usage of hemostat products and therapies.
  • Coordinate presentations on the product / therapy concepts (congresses, customer visits, development programs, seminars, etc.) when required.
  • Look after the adherence to Corza Health marketing strategies of the sales actions and of the information to customers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle (including the negotiation of sales conditions) while gaining access to the appropriate decision makers and influencers.
  • Develop action plan, budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management.
  • Contribute to the tender management process for all tenders in the area (where applicable).
  • Training users on the operation of the products purchased.
  • CRM management.

What you will need
  • BA, ideally within Life Science, Biology, Pharmacy, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales experience within pharma ethical products or medical devices selling in surgery and selling products to surgeons (thoracic, cardiovascular, trauma, etc.) with demonstration or support in the operating room.
  • Experience in presentation and liaising with potential clients such as KOLs, Head of Hospital department, hospital pharmacy, procurement etc.
  • Desirable - established relationships with hospitals within assigned regions.
  • Rigorous customer orientation.
  • Independent and results driven to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Control of relevant budgets.
  • Proven track record of top sales performance, sales awards.
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity for selling in hospital.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Business / Commercial oriented.
  • Team oriented.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Language skills: Fluent Spanish, English a plus.
