Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an OEM Operation Specialist with previous experience in the technology industry, who will focus on turning strategic objectives into operational realities, ensuring that processes, team knowledge, and customer-driven insights converge to maintain Geotab's reputation as a leader in connected vehicle solutions.
What you'll do:
The OEM Operations Specialist for the EMEA region at Geotab plays a critical role in translating broader business strategy into actionable operational plans to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline OEM interactions.
How you'll make an impact
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of OEM solutions, integrating this knowledge into the support structure for heightened operational clarity and efficiency.
- Translate business strategy into operational strategy by analyzing and structuring day-to-day processes in line with broader organizational objectives.
- Communicate pivotal customer feedback to internal teams, ensuring operational adjustments reflect customer needs and enhance satisfaction.
- Draft, support negotiations, and uphold service level agreements with OEM partners, ensuring delivery of quality support services.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive knowledge repository on OEM processes and solutions to educate and support internal support teams.
- Monitor and manage compliance with OEM requirements, including conduction of periodic audits and reviews.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex OEM-related issues, strategically addressing, troubleshooting and resolving these concerns.
- Coordinate with Partner Account Managers to facilitate direct engagement with partners and customers when necessary.
- Foster and manage relationships with OEM support organizations, acting as the primary liaison to streamline communication and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot partner support tickets on a daily basis
- Close collaboration with OEM product team
What you'll bring to the role
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, with a strong preference for those years to be within the automotive, Io T, or connected vehicle industries. Experience with OEMs would be particularly valuable.
- Experience managing projects is critical, as the role involves overseeing various stakeholders and being responsible for knowledge-sharing and process implementation.
- Direct experience working with OEM partnerships and an understanding of the challenges and nuances associated with them would be essential.
- Since the role covers the EMEA region, experience working in international settings and dealing with cross-cultural teams would be advantageous.
- Proficient in the development and management of operational processes, with experience optimizing workflows to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Skilled in effective communication, adept at clearly presenting operational needs and customer insights to diverse audiences, including internal teams and external OEM partners.
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships, with the capacity to manage collaborative efforts and resolve issues within OEM partnerships.
- Competent in assimilating customer feedback into practical operational improvements, ensuring responses align with client expectations and enhance user experience.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks with a focus on precision and order, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
- Problem-solving acumen, equipped to quickly identify operational challenges and develop actionable solutions that drive continuous improvement.
