What is Privateaser Joy?
Our ambition: To make the world more convivial by facilitating group reservations in festive venues.
Our story
Established in 2014, Privateaser is a marketplace that allows individuals and businesses to book or privatize numerous bars, restaurants, and event spaces for their birthdays, after-work events, student parties, study days, seminars, company parties, and private events.
In 2018, after several fundraising rounds totaling €14 million and partnerships with over 2000 partner venues, we launched a Spanish entity, Privateaser Spain , to assist people in Barcelona and Madrid in finding venues for their convivial events.
In 2019, Privateaser acquired Biz Meeting, a competing company, to enhance the support for professional clients searching for venues for their corporate events. We then launched the Privateaser for Business (Pf B) service, providing premium service to reservation holders from major corporate clients with whom we have a framework agreement. We assist them in finding suitable service providers for their event requirements.
In 2020, Privateaser officially acquired Youshould, a historical competitor in the French bar reservation market.
In 2021, post-Covid, Privateaser aims to help venues regain their revenue and welcome groups once again. To achieve this, we launched the Saa S platform Joy, an efficient digital tool for managing and securing daily reservations.
In 2022, as a profitable company, the Privateaser Joy group once again targets the Spanish market and envisions its European expansion.
Our challenges for the years to come
To achieve these objectives, our team consists of 65 individuals, including developers, product managers, finance managers, event project managers, sales representatives, account executives, customer success managers, content managers, who work closely together. To join us, we are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to making the daily lives of those who make the world more convivial easier.
Your role in this adventure?
2021 was the year to test our product and our positioning.
In one year, Joy went from 0 to 700 clients, with 300K€ in MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue).
2022 was the year of confirmation.
Many bars and restaurants use Joy on a daily basis.
2023 is the year of Joy's expansion.
Our ambition is to sign the 5000 most renowned venues (bars, restaurants, venues) in Europe within the next 3 years.
We need a high-quality sales team that enjoys the taste of challenges, securing solid deals, and creating a market from scratch. Our playbook led us to create a specialized Outbound team in 2022, which now plays a crucial role in Joy's development.
However, it is through your pursuit of challenges, your diligence, and your interpersonal skills in sales that this team can succeed. And it will be your results that determine our growth for the next 12 months.

Search and prospect new clients (bars & restaurants) in Spain for Privateaser and for Joy, present our service, and offer the most suitable solution for their needs, ultimately leading to the signing of a partnership contract.

The missions to achieve it
- Seek new opportunities every day:
- Learn about the market and stay updated on the latest developments in the Spanish events industry and booking technology to define a commercial prospecting strategy and assist in building our positioning and partnerships.
- Hunt throughout Spain, with a focus on Madrid and Barcelona since there is significant traffic in these cities on our marketplace, Privateaser.com. While our offices are based in Barcelona, we would like you to travel with your Sales colleagues to Madrid several times a year for a few days to conduct team field signings.
- Source new prospects (large accounts, independent establishments, etc.) through a qualitative approach and various tools (Salesforce, Growth Hacking tools, etc.), and learn to qualify opportunities.
- Allocate 30% of your time to prospecting: making calls to schedule appointments or going on-site to discover bars and restaurants that might be interested.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Sales team's processes and techniques and stay updated on Outbound best practices and tools.
- For them, you are Privateaser Joy!Understand their challenges and demonstrate how our service can help them increase their revenue.
- Gather feedback on our Saa S tool and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service.
- Represent the company and its values: kindness, challenge, and conviviality.
- Ensure reporting of your results and track your objectives in collaboration with your manager.
- Convert leads assigned to you using tactics (yes, there's also some inbound involved!)
- Allocate 60% of your time for on-site meetings, from discovery to closing
- Take the opportunity to schedule meetings with other potential partners
- Ensure a clear and smooth handover to our Customer Success Manager (CSM): the quality of your work doesn't end with the signature ;)
- Previous sales experience over the phone is essential (professional, volunteer, internship... any format as long as you've learned and genuinely enjoy it)
- Stay up-to-date with news about foodtech or Saa S startups
- Familiarity with at least one project management or CRM tool (Salesforce, Pipedrive, Hub Spot, Notion, Airtable, etc.)
- We are looking for someone who is highly organized, with a well-structured and up-to-date Salesforce pipeline, capable of prioritizing tasks, handling 150 leads simultaneously, and managing their time effectively – the only way to be efficient and make sales ;)
- Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
- You enjoy being in the field, comfortable facing prospects, and converting leads. You have learned to master your stress and turn it into an ally.
- Your clients will be bar and restaurant managers in Madrid and Barcelona, so being very comfortable in Castilian Spanish is essential. Being able to communicate in English or French is also necessary for collaboration with your colleagues.
- You can accept and challenge changes in processes and sales strategies.
- The events industry motivates you: you are passionate about bars, restaurants, and social gathering places. You have excellent interpersonal skills – just imagine yourself conversing with bar or restaurant managers!
- You have a genuine enthusiasm for sales – you are eager to close deals, challenge yourself, and surpass your limits every day.
- Autonomous and curious, you are constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.

- You will join Agustin, the only sales on the Spanish market until now. Maxime works in the French market and will not have any Spanish venues in his pipeline.
