Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Automation Engineer to work with our cross-functional team, and join our world-class community of talented experts:

• Performs Automation testing design against detailed specifications.

• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.

• Defines test objectives, creates test plans and develops automated test cases/procedures.

• Provides test results to management and customers that are clear and concise.

• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.

• Conduct job trainings and provide assistance to Junior QA Automation Engineers as needed.

• Responsible for recognizing and creating awareness of process or quality problems.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and eager-to-learn candidate to take our Cognizant´s company brand to the next level:

• Minimum. Experience of Test automation of 2-10+ years on test automation using Selenium tool

• QA automation with development skills - ability to write from scratch automation scripts.

• Extensive knowledge of the DOM and POM model.

• Basic knowledge of React JS and CSS.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in testing websites with responsive design.

• High knowledge of Java (Selenium) for Web Automation testing

• Hands on experience in creating Gherkin scripts based on Cucumber framework

• Experienced BDD framework using cucumber

• Experience in CI/CD tools: Bitbucket, GIT and others including AWS

• Solid experience of AGILE Methodologies and Scrum processes

• Strong experience in JIRA test management tool

Nice to have skills:

• Experience working in Agile Projects. (Nice-to-have Jira + Confluence)

• Experience in BANKING is a plus

• API automation and Mobile Automation experience

Qualifications:

• Good to have - Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL): ISTQB

• Other Test Automation and Testing certification
