Our main markets are France, Italy, Spain, and Greece. We have 21 operational bases: Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Strasbourg, Lille, Lourdes, Lyon, and Brest in France; Venice, Verona, Palermo, Cagliari, Olbia, Florence, Bari, and Naples in Italy; Asturias and Bilbao in Spain; Athens in Greece; and Hamburg in Germany.

We are hiring a Social Media Manager who has experience in interacting with different cultural environments and can work in a challenging high-growth atmosphere.

What you will do:
- Develop and roll-out Volotea’s consumer social media strategy to support key commercial and organizational objectives. Working closely with teams across the company the candidate will identify relevant channels to deliver the marketing narratives in markets.
- Be a brand advocate, working closely with Brand, Marketing and PR, to align and co-ordinate best practices in social media and engagement channels.
- Define and lead the yearly engagement strategy and plan, with KPIs and ROI as measurable objectives.
- Co-ordinate internal and external strategic partners (agencies, production partners...).
- Liaise with communications agencies in different markets.
- Identify opportunities and stories that will help Volotea breakthrough in the category and beyond, driving engagement and positive brand perception.
- Build outstanding relationships with executive level managers across departments and with key external partners.
- Collaborate and lead to advance agreed agendas, activities and milestones related to the scope of work.
- Proactively widen the engagement ecosystem to help impact brand sentiment/reach/perception.
- Lead on social channels monthly communications calendar & plan for each market, prioritizing activity and driving engagement throughout the year.
- Own KPIs and analytics and reporting of channels managed.
- Set annual investment priorities in partnership with Volotea’s Marketing team.
What you will need:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- The ideal candidate will be a professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing/Social Media, driving engagement in social and digital channels, for consumer brands in Europe. Travel category experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset: Strong understanding and experience working with social media metrics, tools and best practices.
- Experience in influencer marketing and working with brand ambassadors is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. Italian or French are a plus.
- Creative thinking, resourceful, self-starter and a collaborative team player who can build consensus and work in partnership with diverse teams across the company and external stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership of medium sized or large projects that support social/marketing needs with clear planning, activation and evaluation. Must be able to manage workload peaks in a fast moving and changing environment where the ability to react is key.
- We are seeking for candidates with a will to be brand champions, fostering collaboration and innovation among internal team members. Comfortable working within a matrix and influencing upwards.
- Outstanding attention to detail is required in this role, with very good organization skills and hands-on attitude.
