What you will do:

Mission: To manage and lead energy assessment analysis for a group of projects, including data management, site design and optimization, met campaigns modeling and production assessments.

Main Accountabilities:

  • To manage and lead subcontracted energy assessment activities for approximately 50+ projects and 100+ met towers.
  • To perform and to outsource energy assessment analysis, including statistical analysis of data, wind flow modeling, technical loss evaluation, and uncertainty analysis.
  • To define and to survey met mast operation, and especially regarding quality of measurement and compliant with applicable rules.
  • Provides analytic support for turbine suitability process.
  • Participates in the monthly data validation and troubleshoots sensor quality.
  • Provides site design and layout-optimization support.
  • Provides met campaign designs and coordinates with logistics and development on the implementation of campaigns.
  • On-Site visit to open areas in countries worldwide.
  • Supports Development team in prospecting process.
  • Provides analytic support for commercial RFP process and financial pro forma models.
  • Specialization programming, remote sensing, CFD, and satellite imaginary and data recovery.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Attend technical forums and International Committees.

What are we looking for:

  • Qualification: BS degree in Engineering, Meteorology, or a related field. MS preferred
  • Experience: +1 to 5 years performing energy assessment tasks.
Specific requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Wind resource techniques, Microsoft Office software; a.i programming in R, or Python. Basic knowledge Matlab, and statistical methods. GIS tools
Skills/competences

  • Strong commitment, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in complex partnership arrangements.
  • Ability to drive subcontractors.
  • Ability to work in team but also take initiative and be result oriented.
  • Ability to make rational decisions, even when under pressure.
  • Accomplished planning, risk management and organization skills.
  • Ability to coordinate different internal stakeholders without hierarchical link and to analyze multiple experts.
  • Good communication, networking and influencing skills.
  • Strong command of English language (written and spoken).
  • Strong sense of values and ethics, incl. confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work concurrently on multiple projects.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to learn new software programs.
