This position reports to
Workshop Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Service Workshop Manager, and daily work direction of the Team Lead, the Service Repair Technician repairs a variety of breakers and subassemblies, ensuring the best possible, most cost-effective problem resolution, and assists in identifying and resolving quality and reliability problems, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification area in Barcelona (SQV). You will be mainly accountable for: • Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. • Report unsafe practices and incidents. • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. • Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders according to workshop processes and guidelines. • Act with sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility. • Perform workshop tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, assembly and testing. • Check bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts for needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available. • Ensure the completion, processing, and maintenance of all required documentation. • Proactively execute work on a first-time right approach and ensures the job is done on time and on quality. • Identify improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the way of working, communicate them proactively and drive small improvement actions.Qualifications for the role
- 2 to 5 years of experience in similar role, working as electrical technician
- Medium degree in Electricity or similar
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and team work oriented
- You are at ease communicating in Spanish
- You hold current VISA/work permit in Spain
