JOB DESCRIPTION
As a 3D polygon modeler, you will create models of soft parts according to a set workflow. The soft parts are modeled in high poly and low poly versions including optimisation by using photos, CAD data and physical models as reference. The models are inserted into a digital car dataset that forms the base for commercial assets like images, animations, and 3D experiences.

REQUIREMENTS
We believe you have a master’s degree from a university, technical college or similar and a great understanding of visualisation software and technical pipeline for content creation. You have several years of relevant experience within this technical area, i.e., from other automotive company, computer game industry, CGI production company or product experience company. Experience in Blender, Maya or 3ds Max,

YOUR PROFILE
We believe you have experience working as a 3D polygon modeler in the automotive or gaming industry. You have advanced software skills in tools such as Blender, Maya or 3ds Max and understand polygon modeling workflow with best practices of topology and edge flow for both subdiv and lowpoly models. You know how to work with UV unwrapping, shadows and normals baking, materials assignments, hierarchies, and scene tree management. Scripting knowledge in Python or MEL is a plus and a big bonus if you have experience in Deltagen for gathering, organizing and cleanup reference CAD models.
