Your responsibilities and tasks:
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business activities and achieving specific sales goals for GEA Separation and Flow Technologies in Sweden. You must develop all activities and initiatives necessary to build various market paths in close collaboration with local sales and service organizations, supported by the product group in Germany, which will assist with technical support, offers, product launches, etc.

You will provide professional advice and support to existing and new customers in Sweden. You will gather requests for new products and/or product improvements, advise customers on high-quality innovative solutions, and support them in implementing their projects.


You will do your best to increase GEA's market share, contribute to GEA's awareness and image, and work in consultation with your colleagues from the relevant departments for the right approach and presentation. You continuously invest in maintaining and expanding your network. This role also involves frequent travel within Sweden and abroad.


Furthermore, you will:

  • Develop sales plans covering the total portfolio in line with targets and budget plus grow the pipeline.
  • Visit existing customers and generate new leads with focus on New Machine Sales.
  • Provide input to Nordic Sales Management regarding forecast and participate in weekly Nordic Teams meetings.
  • Provide technical support for customers with GEA Valves and Pumps.
  • Drive equipment sales/profitability by effectively leveraging Product Specialists and other GEA resources.
Your profile and qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have direct experience and/or a strong professional understanding of pumps and/or valves. They should exhibit an outgoing, honest, and straightforward personality, skilled at establishing strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the organization, both locally and internationally. Moreover, they should demonstrate an ability to navigate diverse environments and collaborate effectively with various companies, locations, and cultures.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
  • Have a proven sales track record of selling capital goods.
  • Possess a strong external sales-oriented personality with team-player skills.
  • Preferably hold a professional education as Engineer or similar with solid sales experience.
  • Speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
  • Have good IT skills and experience working with and in a CRM system.
