Forestry Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, conduct, and review all forestry audit activities for Control Union Sweden.
- Ensure client compliance with established certification standards by conducting on-site visits, examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Communicate audit findings through detailed reports and discussions with auditees.
- Plan, maintain, and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
- Stay informed about the latest local and international regulations relevant to your work.
- Build and strengthen relationships with current and potential clients.
- Explore market opportunities by attending trade shows, fairs, and exhibitions.
- A degree in Forestry or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Forestry, Timber, Agriculture, or allied industries.
- Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 IRCA approved (can be facilitated by Control Union Sweden).
- Completed FSC and PEFC Lead Auditor courses are a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Swedish (is a must).
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Strong report writing abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Highly self-sufficient, well-organized, and resourceful, with a quick learning ability.
