As our HR Director, you will play a key role in Haglöfs' continued development and success. The retail industry is changing rapidly, competition is increasing and we have every intention of navigating very successfully through this. About the role
You will have global responsibility for the HR agenda in our organization, which consists of approximately 250 employees. Most of us work in Sweden, but we are present in a total of 9 regions (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Germany, the UK, Benelux, and Hong Kong).

About the role

- Support the CEO, management team, and managers across the full spectrum of the HR agenda
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Drive initiatives to take the next step in strengthening and developing our culture with a positive focus on business acumen
- Lead our HR team, consisting of two HR Business Partners, a payroll coordinator, and an office manager/executive assistant – a self-driven and competent team that is a joy to lead
- Ensure that we grow in the best possible way through recruitment and value-creating employer branding initiatives
- Drive skills development initiatives related to both product knowledge and other areas, connect this to our learning and development agenda and ensure that we have a digital platform in place that enables effective learning Be responsible for cooperation and collaboration with union representatives

For this role we are looking for someone with the right attitude and personal skills, that’s most important to us. In addition to that, we think that you have:
- A university degree or equivalent, preferably in HR and/or Business Administration
- At least 7 years of broad HR experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a leadership role
- Experience in an international environment, preferably in retail (though not a requirement)
- Experience in building and developing a values-based, business-oriented and positive performance culture
- Ability to drive results, change and development with positive energy, empathy, and a sense of togetherness
- Strategic understanding – ability to see the big picture and shape strategy along with leadership skills
- Prestigeless with a willingness to also take on more operational HR tasks
- Team player with the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships on all levels of the company
- Solid knowledge of Swedish labor law
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
